I. Pre-construction Preparation
1) Base layer: Nuoyan colored stone metal tile Applicable base layers are any material on the roof.
2) Wooden battens require the use of dried wood (metal materials), size 30mm × 25mm, and the surface must be treated with preservatives.
3) Tool preparation: hammer, tape measure, marking tool, electric drill, cutting saw, bending machine.

II. Construction Process:
(A) Installation of batten
1. According to the layout of the wooden battens, fix the 30mm wide and 25mm high wooden squares on the cement base layer along the line (water strips). The spacing should not be greater than 600mm, and the riveting depth into the base layer should not be less than 30mm. After the water strips are installed, nail the batten on the water strips. In the horizontal direction, they should be continuous one by one, only breaking at both sides of the gutter and ridge control lines; spacing 368 mm
2. To ensure that the battens are on the same plane, when installing the battens, you can add wooden wedges of different sizes under the battens to adjust the surface flatness;
3. At the ridge, gable, and zigzag outer edge, in order to cooperate with the installation requirements of the ridge tiles and metal trim, increase the height of the wooden batten by 40mm;
4. The lightning rod can be installed at the same time as the batten, cooperating with each other.
(B) Acceptance of battens:
1. Material acceptance: It must be a non-deformable wooden square or metal material of corresponding specifications that has been dried and treated with preservatives.
2. Size acceptance: The cross-sectional dimensions of the batten are 30mm × 25mm, with an error of ±3mm.
3. Spacing acceptance: Except for the eaves and the spacing of the battens on both sides of the ridge being less than 368mm, the standard spacing of the battens is 368mm.
4. Flatness acceptance: Draw a line for each roof batten and check the flatness error. The allowable error is 5mm.
5. Stability acceptance: Check whether the battens are loose and whether they are firmly connected to the base layer.
