1. Before installation, the roof surface should be inspected to ensure it is level.
2. 40×40 wooden squares are used for the flashings, with a spacing of 750㎜. They must be firmly and evenly connected to the roof (structure).
3. 40×40㎜ wooden squares are used for the battens. The spacing (from bottom to top) is 345㎜ for the first row, and 370㎜ for subsequent rows, with the spacing of the last row at the ridge being no more than 365㎜.
4. Both flashings and battens should be treated with preservatives according to relevant standards.
5. Battens should be evenly spaced, laid flat and firmly; the tile surface should be flat, rows neat, overlaps tight, and eaves straight.
6. Each main tile should be fixed with at least 5 nails; ridge tiles should have at least 3 nails on each side; hip tiles should have at least 5 nails on each side.
7. Ridge tiles should be tightly overlapped and evenly spaced; the joints between ridge tiles and hip tiles should be tight, straight, and flat, without undulations or leaks. The joints between the ridge and hip tiles need to be sealed with sealant.
8. Flashing should comply with relevant standards and process requirements, being straight, flat, tightly joined, and leak-proof.
9. The upward fold width of the main tile on the side of the ridge batten should be no less than 50㎜.
10. The main tile extends 20-30㎜ beyond the eave board.
11. At roof protrusions such as gables and chimneys, the upward fold width of the main tile should be no less than 50㎜.
12. The overlap width between main tiles is 60-80㎜.
13. The downward fold width of the main tile side at the gutter should be no less than 50㎜.
14. Tiles should be cut using a dedicated cutting tool.
15. Both ends of the ridge tiles should be sealed, ensuring they are tight, flat, and aesthetically pleasing.
16. When fixing metal tiles, use 52㎜ long galvanized steel nails. When the nail is driven 8-12㎜ into the tile surface, use a dedicated punch (diameter 8-10㎜) to secure it, avoiding damage to the metal tile surface. The contact surface between the metal tile and the nail head should be sealed with sealant, ensuring no bubbles or holes, and filled with sand of the same color as the main tile.
17. When overlapping each row of main tiles, they should be laid from left to right, from bottom to top, with staggered joints.
18. At all overlapping points between flashing boards and vertical walls, the flashing board should cover the upward fold of the main tile, be secured with steel nails, and then sealed with a non-acidic sealant to ensure no leaks.
19. All protrusions on the roof (such as chimneys, skylights, vents, etc.) should be waterproofed according to relevant standards.
20. The eaves line, flashing section, and bottom edge of the gable board should be straight and without undulations.
21. After the roof tiles are laid, the roof should be cleaned and inspected to ensure that the metal tiles are firmly fixed, sealed tightly and completely, and the surface is flat and undamaged. The drainage slope should meet the design requirements (12°-90°).
